Mamava has a lot to celebrate! Last week, Mamava co-founders, Sascha Mayer and Christine Dodson were honored to attend two special events on the same day on opposite sides of the country. While Christine attended the Moms: Movers and Makers event in LA where Mamava was honored as a Maker at The Bump, Sascha attended the VT Women’s Fund annual benefit where she met NY Times reporter, Jodi Kantor, the writer who inspired the creation of Mamava. Kantor wrote a story on the class gap in breast-feeding in 2006 that sparked the idea for Mamava. “She was very much a part of our origin story,” Mayer said.
