Wasted* is a more sustainable version of portable sanitation, turning what would otherwise be toxic chemical-laden waste into fertilizer and non-toxic waste streams easily processable by municipal waste systems. The company’s mission is to “catalyze the global transition to circular sanitation and change the way people think about waste.” Wasted* is based in Vermont and launched its sustainable “port-a-potty” offering in Chittenden County in the Spring of 2023.
