Founded in 2017 by a car dealership owner and an insurance agency owner, Polly (fka DealerPolicy) is a Williston, Vermont based InsurTech company which provides auto dealers with a digital platform built on a simple premise: customers get far more value when they buy insurance at the same time that they buy their car. Auto dealers use the Polly digital platform to introduce customers to the Polly network of 40 trusted insurance companies. In early 2020 FreshTracks was invited to join a syndicate of Vermont investors for a series of financings which culminated in a $110MM Series C offering led by Goldman Sachs Asset Management during 2021.
Recently, Polly announced a strategic alliance with JM&A Group, one of the largest independent providers of finance and insurance (F&I) products and dealer services in the industry, and an alliance with Darwin Automotive, a J.D. Power subsidiary and global leader in data analytics and consumer intelligence. Together, the three companies will work to deliver the next generation of F&I solutions to dealers nationwide.
