With a paid circulation of more than 350,000 magazine copies per issue and over 1.7 million readers, the Vermont-based company also has an expanding list of high-quality, award-winning book titles, the content-rich website eatingwell.com, a new series of special-interest weekly e-mail food and health newsletters and content-providing partnerships in television, radio and web publishing.

EatingWell Media Group was acquired by media powerhouse, Meredith Corp. Meredith plans to increase EatingWell circulation to 500,000 by 2012.

Prior to this transaction, Cairn Cross, Managing Director for FreshTracks Capital, was Chair of the Board for EatingWell.
