Relaunched in 2002 with funding across multiple investment rounds from FreshTracks Capital, Boston Community Venture Fund, Village Ventures and a group of Vermont and New Hampshire angel investors, The EatingWell Media Group became the leading national source of contemporary nutrition, cooking and wellness information for a growing audience of health-conscious readers and digital users.
EatingWell Media Group was acquired by media powerhouse, Meredith Corp, in 2011 and has continued to publish an award-winning magazine and has increased the digital footprint of the company via a proprietary website, content licensing partnerships and robust social media channels. EatingWell remains located in Shelburne Vermont where it employs 35 people.
FreshTracks led multiple investment rounds into the company starting in 2002 and FreshTracks co-founders Charlie Kireker and Cairn Cross served as Chairman of the Board alternately through exit.
