Davis joined FreshTracks as a Managing Director in July of 2005. Prior to that, Tim managed a series of advanced materials technology based, early stage manufacturing companies to successful exits. The companies were in various high-tech industries, including: electronic materials, fiber optics, advanced ceramics and vacuum deposition of various materials.

Mr. Davis currently serves on the SolarOne and Solais Boards, as chair of the NEHP Board, and is an observer to the Draker Labs and Auterra (FKA Applied NanoWorks) Boards.  Davis was also formerly an observer at Aircuity.

Tim is also active with numerous non-profit boards, including his roles as founding partner of Social Venture Partners in Boston, President of the Artworks Education Foundation and chair of various boards of the Wellesley Congregational (Village) Church. Davis graduated from the University of Vermont (1968) and Harvard Business School (MBA, 1970).

Tim and his wife Susan have a son who graduated from Middlebury College and a daughter who graduated from Princeton University. Tim splits his time between residences in Colchester, VT and Wellesley, MA.
