eCorp English specializes in English language training for global companies like Google, IBM and UPS. eCorp teaches non-native English speakers to translate their skills in order to function in an English speaking business environment. The company was launched in 2007 by Deborah Schwarz, an entrepreneur, foreign language expert, and past attendee of the Middlebury College Language School.
Schwarz set up English language training programs for Thompson Groupe in Europe and subsequently founded e-Corporate English, serving such clients as Google, global insurance and asset management company AXA, international telecommunications technology company Alcatel, and multi-national banks BNP Paribas and HSBC.
Schwarz was drawn to Vermont, in part for its quality of life, environmental track record and good colleges and universities. Under her leadership, e-Corp English has developed a variety of teaching tools, ncluding hands-on trainers, Web-based programs and instruction over the telephone, to give international business people proficiency in English, the leading language of trade.
