Vermedx Inc., a decision-support healthcare information technology company currently focused on the diabetes market, announces today that it raised $500,000 in a Series A financing with lead investor FreshTracks Capital.  "We are excited about the vote of confidence and commitment to partnership from FreshTracks Capital", said Dr. Ben Littenberg, co-founder and CEO, "The capital will allow us to accelerate our traction in the market, and continue to develop world class decision-support products."

Lee Bouyea, Managing Director of FreshTracks Capital, joined Vermedx's Board of Directors at the closing of the transaction.  "This capital will be allocated towards developing a handful of impressive product improvements and converting a healthy pipeline of prospects into new customers."
