Brighter Planet, a Middlebury-based company that sells carbon offsets, announced the winners recently of a user-generated video contest it ran with 1Sky, a Washington, D.C.-based environmental organization. Robbie Adler, Brighter Planet's outreach and partnership manager, said the company works with a number of environmental nonprofits. "We wanted to garner some creative content around this subject", he said. "We saw all the energy surrounding the presidential campaign and thought it was important to get a voice on climate change."
