The 2nd Vermont 3.0 Career Tech Jam was another resounding success.  FreshTracks once again participated in the Vermont 3.0 Tech/Creative Career Jam by hosting a booth, becoming a sponsor, blogging for the event and hosting a panel on Entrepreneurship and Raising Capital. The event was well-attended, and well worth it for portfolio companies Brighter Planet and Draker Labs, both of whom sourced a number of resumes during the event. The entrepreneurship & Raising Capital Panel used Draker Labs as a case study in the ecosystem of raising capital, combining:

• CEO/Founder of Draker Labs, AJ Rossman

• President of the VCET incubator, David Bradbury, where Draker germinated from an idea into a real company

• Draker’s lawyer - Eli Moulton of Merritt, Merritt & Moulton

• Angel investor Mark Taylor, from the North Country Angels, some of whom made an angel investment in Draker

• Lee Bouyea from FreshTracks Capital, the firm that led the Series A transaction recently completed by Draker
