FreshTracks Capital has raised $14 million for FreshTracks Capital II L.P., a fund that focuses on venture capital investments in emerging Vermont growth companies. The fund also makes select investments beyond Vermont's borders.

The limited partners in the fund include individual investors, family offices and institutions including Middlebury College, Vermont Public Radio, the Vermont Community Foundation and Merchants Bank.

"We have already completed four investments in exciting growth companies of our second fund", Cairn Cross, co-Founder and managing director of FreshTracks Capital, said in a statement.
