The 15th annual Vermont Investors Forum was successfully held at the Stoweflake Resort on 11/2/07.

Turnout was strong for the event, with 9 Vermont-based growth companies and 7 "Innovators" presenting their business plans to a group of angel investors, venture capitalists and bankers throughout the day.

In addition to the presentations from local companies looking to raise capital, a panel discussion focusing on CleanTech & GreenTech was led by Mike Gurau, Managing Director of CEI Community Ventures, including panelists, Jeff Wolfe, CEO of GroSolar and Patti Prairie, CEO of BrighterPlanet, a FreshTracks I portfolio company. The keynote speaker this year was Elizabeth Karter, Managing Director of Karter Capital Advisors, which provides investment banking and consulting services to emerging growth companies.

Members of FreshTracks Capital have been an integral part of the event's success over the past 15 years, with Cairn Cross currently serving as co-chair of the Selection Committee for the past 4 years.
