Here's a new one: Some college-bound kids are packing up and taking their businesses to school with them. Mophie makes iPod accessories. It's a competitive business expected to hit the $2 billion mark this year. So company founder Ben Kaufman uses the 3-D printer to do something businesses once only dreamed of. With a new line of iPods just out, Mophie was able to have new accessories production-ready within a week. Maybe that's why Kaufman's teachers occasionally let him cut class.
